I wrote this note to myself on June 6th 2012— almost a decade ago.
And yet, it resurfaced today, and I thought it was timely.
I want to share it, because sometimes, the best way to be grateful for the love we receive… is to pass it on. I have received so much kindness this past week.
All I can be, is grateful.

There are times when you aren’t sure of where you’re going, or whether you’re doing anything right at all. Hold on. You’re on to something.
There are times when you question why you’re doing what you’re doing, and wonder if you should just quit and take the easy road. Stay. The best is yet to be.
There are times when you feel like you’re all alone, and you just wish there would be somebody who would hold you up and make you stand tall. Hold your ground. You’re coming to your own.
There are times when you want to scream at the universe for giving you challenges that seem insurmountable, and unfairly passed on to a tiny you. Smile. You are far bigger and greater than you imagine yourself to be.
Keep in mind that all obstacles, no matter how great they seem, are little compared to the potential and power you possess inside. When you feel like giving up, hold on tighter, because in a little while, all that discouragement will melt away, and your successes will shine brighter than the road you took to get there. There is always a rainbow after the storm, and the grayer the skies, the more vivid its bows will be.
Keep going, keep searching, keep fighting, keep loving.
Again, the best is yet to be.
